I tested at 12:30 today, July 19, 2012.  I have never felt so 'dumb' in my whole life and felt like I'd been hit by a truck when the test shut off at 85 questions.  My hubby said  I even had the 'deer in the headlight' looks when I walked out to his car.  The questions were tough!  I had approximately:

Over 20 SATA  (What happened with being told there would only be 2-4 alternate format questions?) ONE math,6 priority patient, 4 Drag to correct order,15 pharmacology – they just put the drug in the question, not the illness they were taking the drug for = KNOW YOUR DRUGS, 2 delegation, 4 infection control,One EKG and 1 exhibit along with regular questions.

I also did the PVT and came up with the good 'pop up,' but feel like I really did fail.  I'll let you know!

I have to tell you that I am 55 years old and got a 3.5 grade in my class this year!  I'm very proud of me for getting this far.  It was and still is my dream to be a nurse!  I'll let you know!
