Tough luck.

Pls. read about the new memo by the Ca-BRN to all Nursing schools.

Wow.

They should have told us straight out instead of going around the bush.

this was my case, too...concurrency issue!! Accdg to CA BRN the theoretical and clinical should be taken at the same  semester. I was not aware that my program (overseas) was not rigid about this, or is it a new MEMO from the board?  So I was given 3 years to complete the deficiency but nursing schools DO NOT offer classes in those areas ONLY, they want me to take the whole program again.

Or does anyone know which schools offer medical-surgical and obstetric nsg classes so I could satisfy the deficiency?

Hiya, I am sure that I read there are a few schools that allow this in the state of Calif... Check a couple of the forums with this subject and you wil find them... Best of luck to you and please keep us posted...Teresa

This is true, Teresa. And this gave me hope.

Until you start talking to these schools and they tell you about about the recent memorandum from the

CA-BRN Director.

I thought of explaining things in detail, but it won't get anywhere.

To those who are willing to REtake the full RN program, Godspeed and I hope you guys make it .

(before CA decides to change their requirements)

To those who have no option to REtake the full RN program, let's all MOVE ON.
