Review course necessary? NCLEX-PN

Posted 11 months ago Hi! I graduate next week and my school is recommending us to take a 2 full day review course that costs $160 the week after graduating. Has anyone taken it and feel like it wasn't worth it? Has anyone not taken it and had no problems passing? I have the Saunder's NCLEX review book and cd that I can study from. I just don't know if I should go sit for 2 days listening to Nursing Educators.com and pay all that money. Any responses and thoughts are appreciated! Thanks! |

| Posted 11 months ago Hey!! So I have the Saunders Book as well and a few of my classmates that have taken and passed the NCLEX-PN used this book and passed on the first time with no problem! It couldnt help to get a review but the book you have has everything you need to pass!! GOOD LUCK!! |

| Posted 11 months ago Thank you! I'm still on the fence, but take the Hesi exit exam today so depending on how well I do on that it will help make my decision!

| Posted 11 months ago Hiya, I can also tell you that the Saunders Review book is great too... My students have used it and did very well... As far as the formal review goes, that has to be up to you.. You can never have to much review for the exam.... Best of luck to you.. Please keep us posted. Teresa |

I'm very happy with that, and hoped I'd feel one way or the other about taking the review course, but I still don't. :/
