Posted 9 months ago hello im new to this group ,i just want some advice about my situations.I graduated my BSN in the Phillipines last march 2006.I took my local board exam in the Phillipines but unfortunately its failed so i decided to work in Saudi Arabia for 3 years and half as a private nurse but its seems also like a caregiver.I cared for the old couples that belong to a royal family.Last april i came here for vacation and i met my fiancee from California.im still waiting for my fiancee visa .Can I take the exam there for NCLEX eventhough i don't have any license here in the phillipines ?But as i read your discussions they are strict now for the requirements?.Do i need to go to school again so i can take that NCLEX? if i come there ,can i still apply for that NCLEX exam eventhough im just using the fiancee visa and waiting for our marriage.I hope you have some ideas , just need some help. |

| Posted 9 months ago Hiya swen, wow you certainly are a traveler..In answer to your question, it would probably be best for you to contact the CBON directly..You will find out exactly what your requirements are..However, in my own opinion, I wouldn't be surprised if they tell you you need schooling... | Posted 9 months ago thanks TeresahRN,Im glad I joined this group coz its help me a lot .While waiting for my fiancee visa I want to take the IELTS or TOEFL exam but i just confuse what i will choose coz i heard they are now accepting the IELTS. |
