In rivers, the water that you touch is the last of what has passed and the first

of that which comes; so with present time

RIVERS

Rivers flow like my life. The waters keep moving and things move forward. I understand

that I have to want to stay in the flow. The rivers of life can be challenging

but I believe even more healing.

I hope I can be a caregiver that takes on the challenges of the movements of life

and one who lives with the belief that courage in the midst of the flow is a very

powerful force.

When I meet those whom I care for, I want to bring the power of my confidence and

courage to help my patients navigate the flow of their lives.

O God, give me the courage to help others in the midst of the challenges of life.

Let the waters of healing love flow through me so that I can pass on my confidence

that we can maneuver through all that the challenges of the river of life. AMEN.

ACTION: If you had to choose a river to describe your life, which one would it

be? Is your life flowing along peacefully or is it a challenging rapid?

Rivers are like a body, opened up and flowing, no limits,

no plans, no pain. Just energy and beauty and hope.
