U.S. HealthWorks Offers Patients Early Check-in on iTriage
U.S. HealthWorks medical clinics, are reaching out to the growing number of smartphone users through iTriage®, offering early check-in capabilities to those who want fast, convenient access to urgent care services. iTriage’s Urgent Care Check-In™ is available at 22 U.S. HealthWorks locations across the country, from California to Florida, allowing patients to notify medical staff from their smartphone or computer that they are on their way.
From U.S. HealthWorks Urgent Care provider pages on iTriage, users can quickly fill out a brief form that includes a reason for the visit, medical symptoms experienced, and contact information. The form is immediately sent to the facility, alerting staff of the incoming condition.
“Consumers want more control and convenience when accessing healthcare services,” said Diane Yu, vice president of sales and marketing. “U.S. HealthWorks is proud to provide the latest resources and technology to the members of our communities when they have a medical need.”
The iTriage app lets patients instantly connect with U.S. HealthWorks and access clinic details including hours, services provided and directions. U.S. HealthWorks staff provides treatment and care to patients of all ages for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, preventative care and occupational medicine services. The convenience of checking-in prior to their arrival gives patients an additional resource when they have an immediate medical need, and potentially reduces time spent waiting to receive care.
Providing patients with convenient options to access healthcare services enhances the overall patient–provider experience and lets patients know that their time is valued. The additional level of communication gives patients peace of mind, knowing that they are expected, and improves overall care coordination by allowing urgent care staff to begin preparing for the specific incoming medical condition.
