This is a very difficult time to be 40ish and changing careers after spending several years in the military. I am currently a surgical tech but because of some health issue (thanks to the military) I am finding it difficult to stand for long periods of time in the operating room. I have a bachelor degree but looking to get a masters in healthcare administration. I have searched the internet for advice into transitioning into this career field. The internet can be overwhelming, so I ran across this website and posted my concerns. I really want to know if healthcare administration would be a good career move for a surgical technologist or not. Thank you.
