I just came from an interview that really has me feeling strange. I interviewed for a nonnursing job. Actually for an insurance company. I was interviewed by a women that was not the same race as me.  The first thing she mentioned wad that she liked my  hair color. I thanked her. Then she said it has a blend of dofferent colors, is it natural?  Ok, that made me feel strange. Then she asked me if  had children and how old they where. She then asked if I discussed the job with my husband. And ask me what my husband did for a living and if he makes good money. She also asked me how much a week I would need to make to pay my bills. Through the interview she kept looking at me oddly. Made me feel creepy.  I know she could not legally ask those questions. However, I tried to change the subject to the job that I was interviewing for.  I was told that she will call me tomorrow with a job offer. I thanked her and went on my way.   I will not be taking the job.

Advice, please.  How do you handle questions like that? And am I wrong to feel as strange about the interview as I do?
