Hi, cannot find a job.. I have psych experience and very dated med surg experience. I really wish I never left med surg!! I'm finding that psych is very limited in the way of jobs and skills. I have applied to so many jobs I have lost track, most never respond or state they have chosen another applicant..:( I dont know what to do, I;m very worried as my clinical skills are rusty and many jobs require venipuncture skills which I dont have..I considered doing a course to get my cert but its too expensive..Should I try longterm care? I m thinking it would be a way of easing back into med surg and brushing up on my skills...P.S just got my BSN and scared because my loan will be due soon... Any advice guys? What skills do I need for longterm/assisted living..??? Hopeless in DC
