Posted over 5 years ago i don't want to meddle into somebody's affairs but being a nurse, it is so hard not to be attached to people whom you do care about in our working place but as a person with a heart, that's what we want to be. We are so stressed out in every aspect of our lives and i know that there are people here in this website would like to pray with one another and with another. if you have any cares, post it if you want to or email it to me. I will not want to give wrong advices that fits so right in this world but it will be backed up by the verses in the Bible. I am not a scholar of the Bible but i believe that God chooses the lowly to do things for Him. All of you touched my heart in every special way, and i want to reach out to all of you.just a word of precaution, don't take my words for it because they are nothing but take God's Words which are the truth and perfect and applicable in every situation. |

Posted over 5 years ago How nice of you. I think we are all concerned about tedebear and are not sure what is going on with her. Maybe you could say a prayer for her. Thanks

Posted over 5 years ago How nice and thoughtful of you to post this. I hope that everyone on this site knows that strange as it may sound we can bond with one another. There are several on here that I feel a strong attachment to even though we have never met face-to face. I would be very saddened to learn that any are hurting and felt they could not turn to one of us for some support.

Posted over 5 years ago That is the uniqueness about our profession, we are all connected by unique common threat that we call the gift of caring, I believe that when our common thread is tugged on, we all feel it, no matter the distance or circumstances. I believe that nursing is a special calling for the most of us, God entrust is with his wisdom to take care of those who need healing, help those who suffer and prepare those who are dying. When one of us who are whining our circle suffers, we all feel the suffering along with them.

Posted over 5 years ago I think this is a beautiful proposal, and I do agree with char. It's been bothering me too that we don't know for sure what's been going on with tedebear. She's been in my thoughts and prayers since I saw her tag. I also agree with CD...there is definitely a "connection", a comradery shared here, and I think it's nice that we all share a common bond of wanting to support one another. Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

Posted over 5 years ago we really are so blessed that we do try to help each other with sharing info about nursing and how to deal with life. that is the essence of this site. i know some people think that this website is not doing what it should be but we have our own specialty or interest. i learned a lot of info and even had a bunch of laugh because of the people like you--- who likes to share their blessings. i just love all my friends here because i am so connected with all of you.

Posted about 5 years ago I don't know if this is the appropriate place for this or not, but I would like to ask for prayers for some family friends of mine. Last Saturday (May 3rd), we learned that a high school friend of mine was killed in Iraq. I know that his family is hurting terribly with his loss, but his mother especially. She has MS and I saw her yesterday and she doesn't look very well. Please pray for her to have strength to endure this. Thank you very much! In memory of Marine Sgt. Glen Martinez--you will be missed! "Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for the selfless acts they perform for us in our time of need. Amen."

Posted about 5 years ago Prayer for the Troops and their families are sooooooooo important. Not just for them but for us and the freedom we enjoy. The cost of freedom is so expensive. The value of a human life cannot be measured. God Bless them all.

Posted about 5 years ago I am touched that a few people are still concerned about tedebear. Check out the topics "What about tedebear" or Tedebear wanted dead or alive. I posted a answer to some peoples concerns. But you can email me and I will be more than happy to set the record straight once again. DaMomb, I believe I did email you about my mom, I thought for sure you would pass that along to your friends. And Cdnurse was kind enough to check out my mom's death on her own and when she posted what she found, I did post some corrections about some mistakes she made. I'll be looking forward to your emails to me. Thanks so much!
