 Info: The name of the macrophages which are normally present in the following sites are:




1 - In the CNS they are called microglia cells.

 2 - In the kidneys they are called mesangial cells.

 3 - In the lungs they are called alveolar cells.

 4 - In the liver they are called kupffer cells.

 5 - In the spleen & lymph lode they are called dendritic cells or histiocytes

 6 - And under the skin they are called langerhans cells.

 7 - And in the long bones they are called osteoclasts.
