Posted about 2 years ago Are you doing "double duty"? Do you work as a nurse or a nursing assitant and also act as a caregiver for a family member? How are you handling it? What advice would you give to others? I am currently writing a book entitiled Healing the Helper: Burnout and Compassion Fatigue Prevention for Rescuers, Healers, and Caregivers. I would love to hear your story. Thanks for all you do for others, Laura Wisniewski |

| Posted about 2 years ago Just like all of ther rest of use,, , we have had to maintain several hats and rules and regs .Looking back over the years, it gives me goosebumps for thinking of all off the responsibilities we put on ourselves.. Every thing had to get done one way or another.. There areso many ways you can cut ourselves from the dailly needs ofrunning a home..You must just allow your families to do a part of their sharenof duties. If you give up some of the day to day chores, you will be surprised at all of the very impotant thngs thst you need todo will bedone on time..(I hope I explained it correctley.) Thank you. Teresa
