Posted 3 months ago A baby born in rural Mississippi was treated aggressively with antiretroviral drugs beginning 30 hours after birth, which is not usually done. Doctors now say the bab has been cured of HIV, a startling development that could change how infected newborns are treated. There are more than 3 million children globally living with HIV. | Posted 3 months ago I am very happy to hear this. A friend of mine recently volunteered in Africa with her church for two months. She was very saddened as we all are about the situation there. This brings some hope!! Thank you for the article. Marti |
