I will be taking the Nclex soon, and I am preparing with the Saunders 4th edition as a review book. I took the test that comes in the CD and creates a calendar for you about the chapters to study according to your weaknesses. I am not paying for an extra review, but I also have another book for questions the Lippincotts Q&A last edition that is really good, Lacharity as well for priorities.

This is in my opinion.... I found 2 books that I loved and utilized to help me study for my nursing exams - the books are a little pricey but I feel well worth it! I sat for my boards this Feb2011 - 80 minutes 75 questions - passed the first time! Davis's Q&A for NCLEX Review ISB#9780803621879 includes a CD with different Q&A than book (really awesome!) The other book is put out by the NSNA, NCLEX RN Review NSNA ISB# 1418053155. Hope that helps - felt these books were awesome! They have nice outlines taking the meat and potato of the content and great 'test' reviews with explanations for why the answer is correct.

Hello!

Finding the right NCLEX guide is pretty tough because there are so many out there. From my own personal experience I found one that really worked for me. I bought it online and it was super easy to use. It has questions and answers and all different kinds of examples from real test questions. It truly helped me pass the NCLEX. It is located here nclexloopholestube.com

Good luck!

Yeah, very good suggestion. For reference, Saunders NCLEX books are the best. The only drawback are the questions which are easy, accdg to takers. La Charity is a must, i should say.
