Posted about 2 years ago Hello everyone and thanks for reviewing my post. My name is Jaycee and I just graduated from RN school on May 5th 2011. First I want to give GOD the glory that he deserves because through all that I have been through in my personal life alone... he allowed me to make it to this point. I wouldnt of done it without him. Next, I am preparing to take the NCLEX., I took a Rhinehart review, but I am not so sure it really helped me at all. I guess it wasnt what I expected it to me. As I begin to study. I was wondering if anyone had advice as I prepare for the exam. I heard that the exam has gotten harder and more intense since last year when it changed. I got A's and B's in my nursing classes but just as I have been reviewing the Kaplan book it seems that some of the questions contradict what I was taught and some of the info we just was never taught or they never pushed it. I am looking for some advice on how to proceed with this. I appreciate anything that would be benefecial to me passing NCLEX on the first time. Thanks! Remember Florence Nightingale was one woman who made a world of difference and you too are one person who can make a world of difference. Thanks |

| Posted almost 2 years ago Hey, Jaycee! I prepared for my exam with Prentice Hall Comprehensive Review for NCLEX-PN. It contained over 5,000 questions and rationales for the answers. I assume they have a RN review, too. You may want to go on the web and search some NCLEX-RN sites for downloads, too. If your school offers a review for NCLEX testtakers, you probably want to take advantage of that, too. I have never really heard of the Rhinehart review, but everything is helpful for NCLEX review. My advice would be to try all available options at your disposal. I used what I said above, and I stayed on my computer night and day practicing NCLEX-PN exams, up to my test date of Sat.March 26, 2011 @ 2 pm. Don't over-study, but plan to put as much effort into your review for NCLEX-RN as you did for your classes at school. I hope my little 2 cents can help, and GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
