What GPA do most schools require for LPN to RN?

Posted almost 2 years ago I am almost done with an LPN program and I am pretty sure I will succeed at graduating with a 3.5 GPA. Well, my next step is to apply to a LPN to RN ladder program. My question is has anyone been accepted into a bridge program with this level or less of a GPA? I would like to hear your stories.

| Posted 12 months ago Congratuations on your 3.5 GPA. That is a very good GPA. Certainly that shouldn't be a problem getting into your RN school. Have you chosen a program yet? There are really good bridge programs out there that you may not be aware of. When I became an RN, we had only the option of going to school locally. There are some programs now, like the Achieve Test Prep, that are designed for LPN's like yourself, to finish up and get their RN degrees. You can either go on their campus or attend classes virtually. I know they would accept your 3.5, my friend did their program and really loved it. She said it's faster, and was less expensive than going the traditional route. The classes are all taught by RN's which to me is really important. Good luck to you. You can take a look at them by the way at www.achievetestprep.com/info. I'm sure there are others like that, this is the one I've heard of that is very good. |
