| Posted almost 2 years ago Dear SWEET PEANANA, Flash cards sound like a helpful ideal, but I never really used them. I actually used a comprehensive review guide with CD-ROM. It contained over 5,000 questions with rationales. It was very helpful. I couldn't just memorize, that's not what the NCLEX is about. I needed a tool like this to get me prepared for CAT style of testing. I studied different sections of the CD- which had PEDS, OB, PHARMACOLOGY, GERIATRICS. The disc actually had questions divided into the 4 client needs and 11 subcategories. You could deal with a test specifically geared to OB care and meds. You structured your own test based on what you checked at the beginning of studying. You wouldn't waste your time on stuff you already throughly knew. You could focus on your weak areas. I study alone and in quiet for my NCLEX-PN. I also took my school's review for NCLEX-$150.00/2days. I went home used the disc for 3-4 hours every day. I studied everything, but don't overstudy!! Give your mind and body time to rest and relax!!!!!! I hope my 2 cents helps. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
