I am a new RN grad class of may 2011 passed boards June 2011. I have applied to various employment listings without any success. I have begun to look into areas such as assisted living. Im not too familiar with the ropes but, i have read about patient loads and how they can have up to 20-30+patients. What patient load is normal and how does the salary differ from hospital and city settings? Thankyou for your help!

 I am an LPN in assisted living, I have over 100 residents that I am responsible for and 40 + on my med pass... Salary for me is >20 $ an hour
