| Posted almost 2 years ago Getting out of New York (city or state) leaves you with the rest of the world. I would start by figuring out what you like to do, where you would like to live, any up or downs of the areas. For instance, if you like mountains, low ones - Appalachia; big ones - entire continental divide (ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, NM) or Sierra Nevada (CA and NV). And you just have to go through everything that you want and like or think that you would want and like, before you can even narrow it down to a region (I have practice at this after 25 yrs in the military). So it will really be a sit down exercise for you to do. If you get enough experiance, you may decide on Flight Nursing or Travel Nursing, then you can mix it up all over the place. Hope that this helps some with direction. Let us know what happens. Tom, PhD, MPH, BS(N), RN-C, CHN |
