Posted almost 2 years ago I currently live in Long Beach, California... Though if I walk across the street I'm in Cypress, Ca.
I'm currently at Cypress Community College, where they have a wonderful RN program, draw back is that there is a 4 year wait list. I'm interested in becoming a nurse as fast as possible. So I can care for my mom. She just left to ER cause she believe she was having a stroke. If so, this will be her second one. I want to graduate from College and become an RN before anything horrible happens to my mom because all she ever wanted to see was for me to succeed in life. And now, I'm in dire need of finding a good school or starter program to get me on track. I have most GEs done but not all that are required for any RN program. Does anyone know if American Career College is a good school, becuase I've read I can get my LVN there. Then they'll help me find a job and such, but I was unsure if its considered a good school or something lower than a community college degree. Thank you for your time and any information given. |

| Posted almost 2 years ago A 4 year wait list? When do they expect you to start school, when all of your friends who are starting now are already done? That's just crazy! I am taking my online rn to bsn from Unitek College and didnt have to wait on any list. They are in fremont california, pretty close to you, you should try them. |
I think we have some members on here that can help you. There's Dr. Tom Conrad, and Teresah. I really don't know of the college you mentioned but I'm from Florida. You may want to friend request both members that I said above. They're both very knowledegable. If American Career College has a website, you need to check it out, see what they are truly offering. You may want to talk to a counselor from that school. The main thing is to ask plenty of questions, the only dumb question is the one not asked. I hope my 2 cents helps, GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
