Hey you guys, can any of you tell me where I can find good scholarships, grants, or loans that are available for students with parents who have bad credit? It is so hard for me to get enough money for my private school in Oklahoma because my parents have a bad credit score. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Try the FASA.com website or your local state website. I know in Georgia I was awarded the HOPE scholorship and they pay for my first year in full and give me $100 towards books each month. You can also try going to www.collegeboard.com that is a really good sight and will have your state and college information on it. There they have places you can get information on loans and even set up a simple budget plan. I used that...I found it really helpful and our schools here always recommend it. Good luck.

Try the alumni orginizations from your nursing school. I was able to get 800.00 applied to my last class. You should also try student government. I was SGA president and the school of nursing paid my tuition while I was in office. I hope you can find the money you need to finish school.
