What makes you a good nurse????? I can only say everyone has their own genuine niche that makes them  who they are, I always wanted to take care of everyone even when I was a kid. Compassion, empathy, sympathy, all these qualities and more define a GOOD nurse for me. It's fine to have all the procedures and tasks down to a science, but give me a nurse  who can tell a good joke to calm his or her patients, that's a WINNER!!!!!!!!!!!!
