Hi!  My name is Stephanie and I have been a nurse for most of my life. I come from a long line of nurses in my family and my 3 daughters are nurses too! I found these forums as I was doing research on continuing education and just wanted to say hello!

Hi Stephanie, My name is Lori. I am going to start nursing school in August. I am so excited to get started. I hope i can do it. I am in my 40's and i am starting this new path. My kids are raised and moved out and my husband said i should do something for myself. So this is what i am doing.  That is so neat that your daughters are nurses also. I can just imagine the conversations you have when you get together. LOL. It is nice to meet you. hope to see you around here again.

Hiya Ladies, Just do your best and every thing else willl fall into place. A little bit of advice for you, When I was an instructor: I would encourage my students to tap mylectures. I would have them review there notes for the day after school and then do their homework. and most of all, I would have them take a day per week(not class days) and go have some fun.. It helps your brain recharge and you don;t bun out as fast.. Good luck to all of you in your future endeavors..Hugs,Teresa

Teresa,  They were tapping kegs in your class????  Oh, I bet you meant "tape" you classes (kidding for those of you who do not know of Teresa's and my banter.

I think that those of you who are new will enjoy and even find this site useful.  Always ask questions to us on forum and you will get responses from nurses all over.

Take care,

Tom
