Testing?

Posted almost 2 years ago Hello All! I've been really trying (baby) to get into nursing school and it is proving to be harder than I though. Since I decided to switch my course of study to Nursing from Social Work a little late in the year to get into all traditional colleges and universities because I missed the deadlines. Now I have turnes to smaller private and technical schools, the one I'm currently really trying to get into has Three rounds and interview, which i passed, then two tests. The first test is an Acuplacer and then the second is a four hour Kaplan Nursing entrance exam and they only accept the students who get the top 25 scores on the Kaplan. What I'm wondering is: are these two tests difficult? I need to pass the Acuplacer to even make it to the Kaplan which I'm much more concerned about. If someone out there can offer any advice or insight to help me that would be awesome! Thanks in advance :) |

| Posted almost 2 years ago Dear BNOLAN, There should be study guides that can be purchased @ your local BORDERS or BOOKS-N- MILLION!!!!! I have heard of Kaplan, but not the other. You probably find guides to both books on AMAZON!!!! I started LPN school, I took the Nurse Entrance Test-NET!!!!! You had to make a high score on that before you could even get an application to apply!!!!! After passing that exam, you got the application, then had to set up interview with Program Director. It was a heck of a process, and all nursing schools have there own unique criteria!!!!!!! As Teresah said in her post, just study!!! Give your brain time to rest and relax!!! GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shonna or 09157238 |
