CE requirements to renew license

Posted almost 2 years ago I am a new grad LPN in Ohio... after the excitement about graduating and passing NCLEX-PN, it now dawned on me that I wil have to renew my lisence in 2012. I don't work for a hospital, I have a very part time position at an Assisted Living facility every other weekend, so CE's are not provided to me. I have to find a way to get CE's logged and also find out where and how i submit those.... after all this drama I definitely would like to make sure I hang on to my license. I would appreciate advise about where and how to go about this. Thank you in advance for your time and attention

| Posted almost 2 years ago Dear BLOODSIDHE, I believe there are CEU websites that helps nurses to meet their requirements to maintain licensure!!!!!!! I know that FBON actually has a provider that keeps track of the CEUs for the nurse!!!!!! You should be able to get CEUs @ your local college, hospital, or on-line. I think having them on-line makes it more convenient!!! You don't have to go to a campus to take the class, just get on your laptop!!!!
