I have to do a nuclear stress test on a pt with behcet's disease.  Should I be aware of anything before I start an IV.  I learning that it affects the vascular system.

Check pt.'s allergy history!!!!!!! Just make sure not allergic to any dyes or isotopes!!!!!!! Check skin-any wounds, discolorations, or hairless areas!!!!!  Thoroughly check pt.'s cardiac history,too-better safe then sorry!!!!!!  Welcome to NL, and my name is Shonna or 09157238!!!!!
