I want to be a crna.. I have researched a dozen of topics and i still can't seem to find the answer that i'm looking for...I can graduate from the college that i'm currently attending with an A.A.S or Associate of Applied Science In Nursing(A.A.S.N)Degree and Still Take the exam to be A RN...(I can graduate from the program/college as a RN)....Ok!! My Question is Can i go on to further my education with A Bachelor of Science in Nursing(BSN) even though I Have the A.A.S Degree...I want get as far as a Master's of Science in Nursing(MSN) to pursue my Dream as a CRNA...Every link that i clicked on shows that i can have A.D.N as entry level into the field of being a CRNA and that you must obtain a bachelors of science in nursing(BSN) with 1 year of experience in a acute/critical care unit or iccu...then you can go on to pursue your Masters of science in Nursing(MSN) to become a CRNA or take the test for Certification as a CRNA....So would it be a waste a time to start off with an A.A.S rather than a A.S Degree?? Hopefully someone can help!! what's the difference in the A.A.S and A.S degree?? are they basically the same??
