Sweetie,
I didn't mean to mock you, I was referring to the F- bomb comment. I am very serious when It comes to GOD.  The answer to your question, is Many people say they are Christians, but don't walk the walk. Faith without works is dead. I am sorry if I offended you, I posted this comment after  you asked the second question.  I love your humor.

Then, madam, I offer my deepest and heartfelt appology,

Man will not be free until the last lawyer is strangled with the entrails of the last priest.

With apologies to Voltaire

I know I'm old fashioned, but I think tattoos shouldn't be allowed in a hospitals, especially new tattoos.  I had a coworker once whose brand new tattoo bled onto a patient!!

At least if you get a tattoo call in sick until it heals.  But that's not fair either!

Well that's exactly what I mean!  I have no problem with tattoos themselves, just that they interfere with your job if you let them.  Just be responsible, you know?

Anyone who would choose to permanently place upon their body, art that is of such poor quality that they would not want it upon their wall, is a puzzle to me.  I have to question their ability to think rationally... just an ornament?  I don't think so.. more an indication of profound mental deviation.   Don't want one for my nurse, wouldn't hire one were I in the position to so do.  Ugly, ugly, ugly!

Cover 'em up, don't let your poor choices show!

Who cares? We as nurses are bound to aid everyone and anyone regardless of race/gender/color/illness/appearence.  Why should we hold each other to different standards? To know that any nurse or person is judged based on the color of their skin (even if artifically placed) or the color of her/his hair is appalling.  We may as well tell the beautifully inked (think colored) nurses to use a different bathroom or drink at the segregated water fountain.  Get off your high horses people.  Times are changing. Get with it folks.

HP, Thank you for posting your comment on this forum... I for one love tats and have a son that is an artist with his own shop.. However, I think that it's to each his own, but I don't think like any other subject we can force our opinions on one another. , Thanks again, I appreciate hearing your comments.. Teresa
