Posted almost 2 years ago Calling all Federal Nursing Staff.... Take this poll and be honest... Somebody might be reading. Feel free to offer suggestions on how it could be better, if it could get better or what you would do to change anything about it if you could. |

| Posted almost 2 years ago I have only experianced VA nursing from the perspective of a patient. On the whole, the nurses at the VA hospital that I go to are good. I do not have any idea of what goes on behind the scenes. But as a wheel-chair user, I notice that they are sensitive to the differences in height-level and use good wheelchair etiquette. No one at that hospital knows that I am a nurse, except for a couple of my providers, so I do not believe that I am singled-out because of my background. This doesn't answer your question, but it does give you a patient's observations. Tom, PhD, MPH, BS(N), RN-C, CHN |

| Posted almost 2 years ago Gosh, I was visiting a friend that had a motorcycle accident.. He lost both legs.. All I can tell you is I wasn't all that impressed..Blood soaked dressings and generalized just bad.. My stepfather was a Navy Seal.. He flat out refused to go to the VA..He always stated once you go in, you'll never get out. My oldest brother, now is some leader for Anti terrorism. He goes all over the would undercover..He is a PhD in this crimminology. I don't know what he does an he's not telling me either..He says that you have to stand your command, and then the VA will work for you.. |
