Posted over 5 years ago He probably has what I call "cold "in his eye. My grandson does this when he has a cold with alot of congestion. Wash his eye gently with warm cloth. He may need antibiotic

Posted over 5 years ago The green color indicates a possible bacterial infection. He should see his pediatrician. A warm compress will help, as well as Children's Tylenol for pain. Good hand-washing, of course, is very important. Antibiotic eye-drops should clear it up.

Posted over 5 years ago I had pink-eye last year... it was really unpleasant and I would freak out for a few seconds every morning when I'd wake up and not be able to see anything. I thought only small children got conjunctivitis!

| Posted over 5 years ago I'd rather have a toe nail torn off then conjunctivitis! For some reason, I'm prone to it and usually get it in both eyes. I hate it!

Posted over 5 years ago Sulfacetamide (blef-10) works extremely well.... Hand washing is essential for containing it and prevent a re-infection.

Posted over 5 years ago sot its most likely a cold in the eye.. he has been congested since his last tooth came in - about 3 weeks ago, and he has a horrible cough, that i have not been able to get to go away- i just got back to waco and everything seems to be in shambles, my kidd, i think is sick, but noone supports that fact in this house hold... and furthermore i am livid to know that my child teeth have not been brushed daily, bathed daily or friggin givin his zyrtec

Posted over 5 years ago Regarding adult pink eye. I'm pretty sure I've contracted a mild form of the allergenic form. If you get this - there is a great OTC eye drop - Similasan Pink Eye Relief that seems to be working for me. Personally,I hat going to the doctor for little things - this medication is only $10 and you can get it at any Walgreen's or CVS.
