Take her to the hospital right away. Her heart rate should be 100-190 with a mean of 130. Her sats should be above 95%. If it's an hour drive, call EMS: they can treat her enroute!

Take her to the hospital soon, don’t depend much on Pulse Ox, you will need ETCO2 to have a complete picture, her pulse is low but you also have other variables such as strength, regularity, ect. an RT or Pulmonologist will be able to do specific testing and evaluations to ensure that she is perfusing well.

Keep doing the neb treatments. If it is RSV her airways are going to be inflamed and constricted so the albuterol and pulmicort is helping. And I am sure you remember, with RSV you can only treat the symptoms. Keep her head elevated. It will make her breathing easier. And definately to the ER with any signs of distress or call 911. I hope she feels better soon! My prayers are with you!

Did she have that croupy cough? That's a sure sign of the croup. (sounds like a seal barking-my grandson just got over it)

yup that is it
i cant believe my clinic totally missed it. that is not the first time they have misdiagnoised her though. they did it when she was 2 months old and had RSV, ammonia, and bronchitis. I hate living in this town. there is no where else to take the kids. you would think a doc is a doc that they would all know the same thing. i guess not!

Are you seeing a doctor at the clinic when you go?

yup i am that is the messed up thing. They also said that in the X-rays that it shows that she has a enlarged heart. but they told me that it could be because she was not takin a deep enough breath in so they told me when i move which is in like a week that to take her in to a doctor and have them check it out. so that has me really worried beacause heart problems run really deep in both mine and my husbands families. so we will see. i just keep praying that everything will be ok you know

Marci,
My heart is going out to you with all of this worrying that this clinic is putting you through.. No mother, grandmother etc should have to worry this much and not get any form of answer to go with it. Just much I DON't KNOWS. YOu said you are moving? Is is to a better town with a greater choice of facilities for you to choose from? I hope so for your piece of mind. Hang in there, they have been wrong before and this also could be one of those times. So please keep all of us posted and i will certainly keep you in my prayers. BEst wishes Jessie D
