Posted about 5 years ago Take her to the hospital right away. Her heart rate should be 100-190 with a mean of 130. Her sats should be above 95%. If it's an hour drive, call EMS: they can treat her enroute!

Posted about 5 years ago Take her to the hospital soon, don’t depend much on Pulse Ox, you will need ETCO2 to have a complete picture, her pulse is low but you also have other variables such as strength, regularity, ect. an RT or Pulmonologist will be able to do specific testing and evaluations to ensure that she is perfusing well.

Posted about 5 years ago Keep doing the neb treatments. If it is RSV her airways are going to be inflamed and constricted so the albuterol and pulmicort is helping. And I am sure you remember, with RSV you can only treat the symptoms. Keep her head elevated. It will make her breathing easier. And definately to the ER with any signs of distress or call 911. I hope she feels better soon! My prayers are with you!

Posted about 5 years ago yup i am that is the messed up thing. They also said that in the X-rays that it shows that she has a enlarged heart. but they told me that it could be because she was not takin a deep enough breath in so they told me when i move which is in like a week that to take her in to a doctor and have them check it out. so that has me really worried beacause heart problems run really deep in both mine and my husbands families. so we will see. i just keep praying that everything will be ok you know
