| Posted about 5 years ago I am so excited that I stumbled onto this site. I had no idea that something like this was out here, and am new 2 the internet also! I just got accepted to Vincennes University's LPN program. I am really excited and nervous because this is the 2nd time for me. I had suffered a neck injury while working in others homes as a presonal assistant and suffered a personal loss as well. But I am ready to go back and I do know how hard it is and how much time that you have to give to becoming a nurse. I wish every one good luck and please feel free to ask me anything if you like. I do know alot of nurses at this moment and most are very happy to help students with questions. So feel free to just ask a nurse if she has a minute they usually love talking to students! |

| Posted about 5 years ago Congrats to both of you! (I still remember the day I got the call that I was "in" the program.) My advice... Stick with it! You will have moments when you want to give up and you may have doubts, but it is so worth it in the end. I am looking into completing my RN. I am enjoying this site and learning so much from everyone. The camaraderie is awesome and is getting me mentally prepared to go back and achieve the rest of my Nursing goals... |
