Hi my name is Carol and I new to NurseLink and wanted to say Hello to everyone. This fall I will start an accelerated nursing (MSN) program and I am a little nervous. I know the first step was to get accepted into the program but I keep hearing the program is soooo hard/intense. Does anyone have an advice on how get through this type of program besides studying to death? I have always aspired to become a nurse and I have faith in God and the support of my husband but I don’t want to get in over my head. Does anyone know what it is like going through this type of program or how I can possibly hook up with a mentor to guide me? I am the mother of three boys and my husband has a very demanding career and I live in a city where I have no family to support me and I am trying not to become too overwhelmed. Again any advice would be great appreciated.
