I am in the process of opening my own consulting business among a large group of specialists who are in the same specialty. It's exciting to have arrived at this stage after more than thirty years in nursing, acute care, ambulatory, and geriatrics. It's not like you can quit your " other job " because consulting work isn't always a guaranteed paycheck.
