Non accredited LPN schools? will it affect employment opportunities??????????

Will going to a Non accredited LPN school affect my employment opportunities? i called the board of nursing and they are okayed to have students sit for the LPN nclex.

I am not sure. I have never had an employer ask if my college was accredited.

NLNAC, just like RN schools. However, accreditation is not required for a program to be accepted by the state Board of Nursing. If so, then graduates are eligible to take the NCLEX-PN.

Employers only care if you have a license. They don't care if your school is accredited or not.

I agree with the last quote tou don't have to go to a accredited schools, but my question is how do you look up these schools.

A real concern would be if you were planning on continuing your education for RN. There is a possibility that your credits might not transfer.
