Posted over 5 years ago Now that I am in nursing school I am very stressed. My instructor is new and it is definitely a rough transition. I need to know how other nurses felt during nursing school. Did you feel like you were going to fail? I make myself sick over my worrying about tests and such. Be here for this day for this etc, there are so many things you have to do other than studying and clinical paperwork. How did you feel? and How did you get through? |

| Posted over 5 years ago That's just part of nursing school. At least it was for me. The first 2 semesters were the worst. I did and ADN program. I never thought I'd make it through. It is very stressful, but stick with it b/c in the end you will so glad you did when you hold that degree and get your license. Sometimes you'll feel like it's never going to end, but when it's over with you'll think wow that was fast. |

| Posted over 5 years ago StalightRN has to deal with my Algebra drama LOL!!! I can't imagine what will happen when I begin A&P. I had better find the number to the pizza place. Stress is a part of a nurses job...not that I'm going to credit stress, but some times with the bad, you can find the good. Try to weed out the stress points, then look at the subject material as a mere object that you have to learn. Don't put to much pressure on yourself on "having to" learn. Rather, absorb it and understand it. I think it's the ying and yang thing. Of course, if that doesn't work, just punch a wall! Whatever you do, please don't pull your hair out..Rogaine doesn't work. |

| Posted over 5 years ago rwh0327: I know how you feel. The thing that I've found that works best for me is to not look too far ahead. I use my agenda and try to only look at one week at a time...sometimes one day at a time!!! Hang in there!! Stacie |
