I would like to hear from RNs who struggled in nursing school. I worry a lot and feel like I won't get through. What helped you pass? Did you ever feel like giving up?

Hi, I am not a RN student, but I am about to take my LVN State Boards, I am currently on the waiting list for my RN. I can tell you, to study, study, study. I hear if you buy you a good Saunders NCLEX Review book, and study out of that, it can help you through nursing school also. I don't know about your study techniques, but try recording the lectures, and going over your notes, when you get home, don't get overly occupied with other things, such as working too hard, and having a heavy social life. Limit your stimuli's to a minimum, remember you are a student, better yet, a nursing student, you have to find study tools that are beneficial, such as groups, or a study partner. Good Luck!!
