Well, I feel as I can't win for losing!
I had an ex-employer rip me apart to the Dr's office I was applying for (which I had decided not to take b4 this even happened). Anyways, this guy is a PT that the Dr's office refers to. Luckily, the office manager knows me quite well and ask for my side of the story. I quit because I was not going to allow him to humiliate, degrade, or embarrass me any longer. I gave them a list of references as well as my resume. I only left this position on there because they already knew I'd been there. I hope this all makes some sense. I'm pretty angry that he overstepped his boundaries, not to mention the law of what is now legal to say...date of hire, date of departure, rate of pay, position and if they would be up for rehire. Is there any recourse? It irritates me to no end. I even called this guy and made amends after I left just to keep my side of the street clean!!!......I was his office manager and I was applying for an MA job to boot...... I cleaned up 50 thousand $$ of of debt for him...cleaned up messes that other people left..he was never happy and he has the nerve to bad mouth me???? I'm pissed off..thanks for listening

this is something I would not normally suggest, but would this office manager testify against this guy? If so, I think I'd contact an attorney
