I graduated my PN degree back in 2010.but didn't get my diploma till 2012, because of a class due that was owed. I finally recieved my degree but now with a young son and busy 3rd shift job I have not been studying for my boards. Life has not gotten easier, and I now know and am trying to brave my fears and study for the boards for my LPN. Im hoping I dont have to take a refresher, I would rather study and see what happens..and if I fail then I know a refresher is needed. Im a single mother, I make pretty good money doing a factory job, but working 3rd shift is no longer what I want, or what my family needs. Time is wasting as my son grows, and I am asking for any help out there that can hopefully ensure I pass on my first time. Thanks for everyone who reads this :) Tammy

Although I cannot guarantee, I can give you the same advice I give to my sudents.
here are some things I would tell my student...
Get a study buddy or study group..
You can use any one that might of been in your class.
You can also use any one who may just have graduated from a class or a senior in the program..
If you are able, see your last instructor for assistance if you do not know how to contact them.
Sudy for several hours every day..
Give yourself a beak every week and just go and have fun..
That gives you brain a rest so you are able to absorb more information.
Do not cram..
On the night before, just relax..
Get a good night's sleep.
The morning of, have a good breakfast and if you are nervous, do some deep breasthing..
No more studying, it will only confuse you...
Then best of luck on the exam.
I hope this helps you some and please keep me posted...
God Bless and keep you safe in all of your future endeavors...
