Just thought I'd see who out there has seen a good movie lately. Or a bad one as far as that goes. Tell us what you've seen lately and why you did or didn't like it and would you recommend it for someone else to see.

I went to see "The Bucket List" Sundy afternoon. It was a great movie. It was funny and sad and very thought provoking. Ladies make sure you take some tissue. I would recomment it to anyone. It isn't a chick flick either. My husband went with me and throughly enjoyed it.
I say "I am Legend" a while back and was very disappointed in it. Personally I wouldn't recommend it.

August Rush was the last film I saw in a theater. I loved it and it comes out on dvd tomorrow so I hinted directly that's the only thing I wanted for my birthday.

I can't believe that dmazment is the only one that has seen a good movie lately. Is everyone spending all their time on Nursing Link instead of going to the movies.LOL I like to see what people recommend.

Dmazment I have not heard of the movie you say, but I will definitely look into it.

For those who are into the reality type of movies, "American Gangster" is a great movie, then watch the movie "Blow," it's also another reality based movie about how a man, forever, changed America. I also enjoyed the movie "Happy Feet..." Robin Williams is great in that movie!

Haven't seen American Gangster, but thought the preview looked pretty good. Sometimes the previews can be deceiving. They make it look good and then when you get there to see it, it stinks.
Haven't heard of Blow, and have Happy Feet on DVD but haven't even watched it. That's awful isn't it.
Loved the Bucket List. If you're looking for a good kids movie you should see Waterhorse. It was pretty good.

Kentuckygirl I can't help you out with PS I Love You, I haven't seen it. Maybe someone else has.

I just saw American Gangster and I liked it. What you see in the previews is what you get. Check it out. Another good movie is "Traffic" it has alot of stars in it. It came out a couple of years ago.

Ok.....I have to admit that I am dating a movie GURU.... if you cant remember the name of a movie...but you can remember parts of the story line or people that were in it...He will probably know what it is... ITS SCARY!!!

As such we watch a lot of movies (he keeps a part time job at Block buster so we can get movies for free...)

GOOD MOVIE LIST:
Enchanted...its fun, its cute, its Disney, you cant go wrong....
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium...Also fun and cute...with a good lesson..Dustin Hoffman is wonderful!
Sunshine...Directed by Danny Boyle...Its a Sci-Fi acton movie...It will trip you out...
I am Legend...Good...Good CG affects good action...no shaky camera...
The Bucket List...I BAWLED my eyes out!! Jack Nicholson at his finest...
Martian Child...John and Joan Cusak...Cant go wrong with these powerhouse siblings...movie is VERY sweet...
Fool's Gold...Mathew McCon(I cant spell) and Kate Hudson...Really good...Romantic Comedy...Good date movie...there's lots of action for the guys!
Stardust...feels like Princess Bride...Michelle Pfieffer is great! And Robert Deniro as you COULDNT POSSIBLY IMAGINE HIM!!!
Death at a funeral...This is a hilarious movie about a family taboo....
Hitman...Based on a Video game...you think it would be lame...but its really not...Good action
Boyton beach club... This movie is secured on my boyfriend's top ten list...Its a great comedy...and you will laugh!
The World's Fastest Indian....Anthony Hopkins...Great Movie...TRUST ME!
Catch me if you can....one of the first movies Leo picked because he wanted to do it, he produced it...really good...
Postcards from the Edge...This is Carrie Fisher's version of her life...It is a fantastic job by Shirley McLain and Meryl Streep...
Georgia Rule...The one movie after the Patent trap, Mean girls and conffesions of a teenage drama queen that I like lindsay Lohan in...It helps that she is surrounded by Jane Fonda and felicity huffman for a great cast..oh yea..Robin hood men in tights is in it too (Cary Elwis...and no you wont like him)...word to the wise though...the subject matter is tough...

Now I know that not all these movies are new...But they are all worth seeing...

Hopefully this inspires you!

Dan in Real Life - very good movie, but was not at all what the previews led it to be! You will be pleasantly surprised!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!
