Posted about 5 years ago Hi, I would really appreciate any input. I really want to get into an accelerated nursing program. I need to take lots of pre reqs. I haven't had any math or chem in college. Has anyone been in my boat? |

| Posted about 5 years ago Sort of... I've got bachelors' iin intl./comparitive political science and Russian language. I pretty much had to start all over and am now taking my algebra, chemistry, and science classes for prerequisites to get an ADN. It sucks, I know, but it's not that much longer. |

| Posted about 5 years ago margaritka, when you're finished with your ADN and go for your interviews, make sure to tell them you speak Russian and tack on interpreter to your name, Most places you receive quite a bit more money per hour as an available interpreter. Especially when you since you have a degree |

| Posted about 5 years ago Yeah, that's what I"m hoping... I'm actually also hoping to take Polish classes or get a Polish tutor because, although the languages are similar and most people who speak Polish understand it, older people REALLY don't take kindly to hearing the Russian language. (Probably because a lot of people moved here to America to escape the Russians). I live in Chicago and there is a massive Polish community here. |
