Posted about 5 years ago Few true sewers, quilters or fabric crafters need an excuse to buy more fabric. We are hooked on cotton. We obsess over silk. We daydream about calicos and ginghams and plaids. But just in case you need to explain to others why you have a million yards of fabric at home, but still need a few more fat quarters and just have to buy yardage of the newest prints ... here's a handy list of reasons you need more fabric! Copy this list and tuck it in your purse for quick reference! It is a patriotic duty to support cotton farmers, textile mills and fabric shops.

| Posted about 5 years ago She who dies with the most fabric wins. I started sewing in 1981. I would finish one project before buying more fabric to start another. what happened. Now I have shelves full. and bins full of Scraps waiting for the need. Ihave dress fabrics and quilting fabrics. I have projects waiting to be cut out and some waiting to be sewn. My sewing room is very small now and it is wall to wall with stuff and still I buy more. A fabricoholic. My daughter just went and got two pieces for me to make her new outfits for her to take to the Democratic State Convention. It never ends. Then there are the weddings and work. Oh well some one has to do it. I just got the new THREADS magazine yesterday and have skimmed it and can't wait to read each article deeply. (I also have 3 papers to write for school but....) The Support group is called a sewers guild or quilting party |
