Posted about 5 years ago I wanted to become a nurse from since I can remember. I was told by my counselor in HS my grades were not good enough to get in to nursing school. I applied anyway and got into an all girls school that was 17 years ago. I went thru deaths in family, a sick mother, sister and I gave up all my savings to help them. Went thru a rough first marriage, on my second now. Will I ever make it to nursing school to fulfill my life long dream or is it to late for me? |

| Posted about 5 years ago I went through the same thing a couple of years ago. I was in the LPN program, when I went into renal failure due to lupus. I told myself if I could stay healthy for 2 years, I would go back. Here I am. I decided to go the RN route, and I have recently been accepted to the RN program here at the Community College here in Kentucky. I am also divorced, (since 2000), so I know what you are going through. I had a 2.5 GPA in High School, but now, I graduated with my first Associates Degree with honors. (It is in Medical Office Administration, but I am missing the hands on, so that's another reason why I have decided to go back to become an RN). Take care.....Vicki |
