Posted about 1 year ago My cats like to run around at night, as I was walking in the house at night from work, I turned on the light just in time to see two cats in midair colliding! I called it my Crouching tiger, hidden buttonhead! They are always either getting stuck in a shoe, running in place trying to find traction on a wood floor! What's your funny story? |

| Posted about 1 year ago I don't have a cat story, but I have several funny dog stories. I had 2 golden retrievers, Molly and Max. Max was a complete dufus, much to Molly's embarassment. One night, I awoke to the sound of clanging and clanking. I thought I was dreaming; it sounded like chains being shakened by a ghost. It was moving about the house. There was no other sound. Molly was asleep by the side of the bed. I finally got up, turned the light on (much to Molly's dismay, she was sleeping so peacefully, and conveyed her annoyance with a 'now what?' look, of a deer caught in the headlights), and went to investigate. I went out of the bedroom, and around the corner appeared Max. He looked at me like, 'hey, what are you doing up? Are we going somewhere?'. Evidently, Max had been laying near a floor vent. He had it hanging from his collar, and was wearing it like Mr. T., while he 'made rounds' during the night. I think he was quite proud of his new look, as he sported it around. What a dork. |

| Posted about 1 year ago Sophie tries so hard to climb (she has been declawed). She gets a running start then crashes into the door frame and slides down. So to make her feel better, I pick her up she grabs ahold of the door frame, and I shimmy her up the door frame and she grabs at it like she is climbing. We get to the top, she lets out a little meow and then she is ready to get down. She is a crazy cat, she darts from room to room. She loves the dog, they play well together. Sophie is a great cat! | Posted about 1 year ago My cat Mitz is polydactyl, so that's where he got the name mitz. He just discovered our chicken, Lucy, he goes and checks on her a couple times a day. When we are out in the yard they run and chase birds and bugs together. It's so funny watching them running and jumping in the air together and both missing. I'll take off running and the cat and chicken both run with me. Can't wait to go play in the garden with them, should be a fun spring. Please don't pay any attention to my misspelled words or typos. Sorry I'll try harder next time. |

| Posted about 1 year ago I have a dog as well, and she loves to play with her ball. One day it rolled under the computer desk and instead of going around the chair, she decided to go through it! The rung on the bottom needless to say caught her and got her stuck and I had this boxer, black lab mix with a chair on her back! She loves to play with a laser pointer, chasing the dot all over the place and she is 5 years old! |

| Posted about 1 year ago Sadly, my cat is no longer with us but he was hilarious! He would sit up like a human with his back against the tv cabinet and his legs straight out in front of him / he also would eat all the bows on christmas presents so we had to start giving bowless presents/ when he was annoyed with you , he woud sit right in front of you with his back to you and played deaf when you called him. I MISS HIM! ( and his attitude) |

| Posted about 1 year ago We have a two polydactyl cats. Gaz, he's a tuxedo, after he was neutered his weight literally doubled, but fortunately he's lost most of it. However, he remains a very large cat, just because of his bone structure. He sits down and then rolls backwards, so he's half reclining and plays with his catnip mouse, using his opposable thumbs to hang on and manipulate the mouse. Then he holds it up to stare at it, throws it in the air and rolls over on it. |

| Posted about 1 year ago I have 4 cats, Sox, little bit, tiger and buttonhead. Buttonhead is pretty unique. We found him at PAWS and he would not play, or meow, he just sat there and watched people go by. For a kitten, that is really unusual. So my daughter took him out of the cage and he just curled up in her arms. Needless to say I heard MOM! And we took him home. He's five years old now and is not a very vocal cat, except when it comes to treats. He will meow up a storm to get one. I was joking around one day while he was begging and told him, you have to rollover to get this one! He looked at me, meowed and promptly rolled over!! So that is our routine in the evening. |

| Posted about 1 year ago My cat would love for me to hold her and walk all over the house with me. She would watch my every move. One night my husband was out of town. I had just settled into the bed and all of a sudden the bath room light went on and off about three times. It was Puff. She would jump up and hit the light switches. I guess she was really obseriving when I would hold her and walk through the house turning lights off. Ginny |

| Posted about 1 year ago Cats are smart. I've seen my cat try to open doors, he hates a closed door. This christmas over in Germany, their door handles are different than ours. The cats there do open the doors. My in-laws have to lock the door because if it isn't the cat opens the door and out he goes. I was going to the bathroom and I quickly learned to lock the bathroom door, in walks the cat then turns and walks away. My daughter was kitty sitting over there and when she got ready to leave the front door was open and the cat gone. She was out with friends hunting for the kitty. Please don't pay any attention to my misspelled words or typos. Sorry I'll try harder next time. |

| Posted about 1 year ago One of my cats, Little Man, we always thought knew how to use the toilet. We had never trained him but I would be home hear what sounded like someone peeing in the toilet but knew I was the only one home. Or there would be urine in the toilet and both my husband and I regularly flush after using so I knew it couldn't be either of us. So, one morning, while putting on my makeup getting ready for work, Little Man came into the bathroom with me. I didn't think anything about it since all of the cats are Momma's children and feel the need to be wherever I am. The toilet seat was up and he walked around the seat for a few minutes, as I watched, and he squated and started peeing. I was dumbfounded. I was glad to know that I wasn't crazy and then wished I could train the other 3 how to do it as well. Would save me lots of money on kitty litter. |

| Posted about 1 year ago my baby is funny to watch playing with her catnip sock...she literally turns somersaults around it trying to rub it all over herself...then there are her morning wind sprints. You can hear her start from one end of the house running for all she is worth then when she hits the lino in the kitchen the footfalls get suddenly louder for about three strides, then she hits the family room carpet and comes to a "screeching" carpet-shredding halt behind the sofa. Then she runs back the other way. three complete circuits every morning - you could set your watch by her. She used to chase a laser pointer but she is too cool now for that. |

| Posted about 1 year ago I have a beautiful seal point Himalayian. My mom and I were seating on the bed (king size) which is maybe 2 ft. from the wall and my cat was running up and down our long hallway. Then all the sudden he leaped over the entire bed and ran under the bed and back down the hallway. He did it three times but all the third time he smacked himself into the wall and slid down the wall. We couldnt believe it! It was like something off a cartoon. We laughed once we found out he was okay. He never did it again though... |

| Posted about 1 year ago I have a 10 year old male cat who is "moody" most of the time. One day my boyfriend sister came over and needed to go to the bathroom. So in our old house there were 5 steps to go up into the kitchen from the front door. You had to walk through the kitchen to get to the bathroom. Well she didn't come out of the house after a long period of time so I went in to see if she was ok. Here my cat got to the top of the steps and was hissing and gowling at her and trapped her in the kitchen and would not let her out. Most of our family members are afraid of him because he can be mean. It is just his personality I guess. |

| Posted about 1 year ago My brother has a cat that is just hilarious. He loves to give himself a bath - literally in the bathtub or sink (which ever has water in it). While visiting my brother recently I was getting ready for bed. I was standing at the bathroom sink washing my face and had the water running. Willy, my brother's cat, came running into the bathroom and jumped up on the side of the sink and went head first into the water. The incident startled me at first because I didn't hear him come in - but after I saw what he was doing I just burst into laughing. My brother came to the door to check out the commotion and found Willey laying in the water washing himself and me standing there with Noxema all over my face. |

| Posted about 1 year ago when my husband is gone, I shower with the bathroom door open....for many reasons...so the cat, will sit up on the top of the toliet and peer in on me, waiting for me to get out so she can get in the bath tub and lick up the water (ok ewww). When I am toweling off, if I am taking too long, she starts batting at the shower curtain. She will also sleep with me on the bed (*sometimes* she is a real daddy's girl) when my husband is gone, I wake up to find her completely stretched out on her back, I have to move my position as not to bother the Princess, I sometimes find myself in the oddest postions to accomdate the cat. Would hate for her to lose her beauty sleep. ;0) Taylor's Wife-Navy Wife Proud and Strong!

| Posted about 1 year ago I think it is the funniest sight to see when my cat is sitting up, bathing himself, but he is up like a person- sitting on his butt. I saw him on the couch one day doing this and he stopped, turned and looked at me while I sat down next to him. Then immediately he went back to business licking himself. I will try to capture a pic. so I can post it! -Angela--'--,--{@ |

| Posted about 1 year ago Sophie will carry around her feather stick.....like a dog would carry a bone. It will be in the sub living area when I leave for work and when I get home for lunch it will be in the hallway. To watch her carry it around....it is truely funny! My kids love when my husband is using the laser pointer, he starts in the back bedroom and has her chase it all the way across the living room floor and up the wall, she can get pretty high up...... I swear one day she is gonna break something.....(whether it be her or something we own....LOL) Taylor's Wife-Navy Wife Proud and Strong!

| Posted about 1 year ago Gir, our four year old maine coon has found a new cave.........it just happens to be the dishwasher. So whenever we're loading the dishwasher, we have to be careful not to roll the bottom rack into him, if you don't happen to see him jump in. He can be soundly sleeping under a bed, back in the corner and the absolute minute he hears the dishwasher door open he makes his ghostly appearance. |

| Posted about 1 year ago I have four cats, but my favorites are Bobby Brown & Whitney Houston. They're all black and Whitney's skinny (tho' she eats more!) and Bobby's kind of fat. Well, I think he's in love with me because one day he curled up to my right arm, grabbed it like I was a female cat with his teeth and seemed to try to "nurse" on my arm. He was right on my elbow like he wanted milk from my arm! After I laughed my head off, I got him some milk, which Whitney tried to steal from him but he chased her away! |

| Posted about 1 year ago my mother in law made me this blanket that you fold up and make into a pillow. I had it laying out on the bed unfolded and when I came home from work, Sophie had climbed into the pocket and was asleep. I searched for hours in the house (she won't and doesn't go outside....) thinking that I had locked her in the bathroom, she was in my closet.....or prehaps when I had taken the dog out she had some how got out....I finally went into our room and found the blanket moving, to find her inside. I wish she had stayed long enough for me to have taken a picture...it was so cute! Taylor's Wife-Navy Wife Proud and Strong!

| Posted about 1 year ago Growing up, I had a pure white cat named Sophie....we couldn't find her one day. We searched everywhere. We ended up finding her locked inbetween the outside window and our storm window. She had crawled into it and we had inadvertently shut the window and locked her in it. A good man loves other. A better man loves God. A great man loves God and lives well among others! I miss you daddy!

| Posted about 1 year ago We have 3 cats Misty is part maine coon, Fresca is a domestic long haired calico that can't meow. she whispers, and Sierra a pure bred Maine coon. My boys are into Naruto (Japanese animae, fancy words for cartoons if you ask me) and they have learned some Japanese. The word for give me is "domae (spelling?) and my husband sometimes calls Fresca dummy. well she answers with her silent whisper. Misty loves straws, and will go to great lengths and heights to get one even if it means stealing it out of my mcdonalds cup. at night you hear the squeak a straw makes when you pull it thru the lid and then plop goes the cup on the floor and Misty proudly takes the straw out of the lid. She also loves to wait until I'm comfortable in bed and pounce on my ankle and bite it. She is declawed, lucky for me. Sierra is our newest girl, her funniest thing is when I'm laying on my pillow she comes up and starts kneading it or on my head until I move my head then she plops down in the middle of my pillow. Lucky for me she too is declawed. |

| Posted about 1 year ago My Charlie loves to play in the shower. With me in it. He will try to sit on the side of the tub batting at the water drops around the curtain. Eventually he leans a little to far in and "Oh, well, I fell in again" . He will continue to bat at the water drops as if to say "I'm already wet, I might as well play with it." He is so funny. Redneck I is...but bigot I taint! |

| Posted about 1 year ago HAHA! So my cat is a HUGE Fluffy Gray cat and always jumps from my couch to my breakfast bar. Well he also has to take "kitty relaxers" to go to the vet. Before we went to the vet one day he thought he could make it (*while drugged up*) onto the breakfast bar--well it was like he stopped in mid air and just went "PLOP" on his stomach on the bar. He didn't get hurt but held on and looked at me like, "HOW DID I GET UP HERE?!?!?!" LOL I was laughing so hard. Poor guy didn't know what he was doing. |

| Posted about 1 year ago Sophie loves to sleep on or inside my husbands flip flops or his birkenstocks. She has just recently learned how to open and close doors..so if the door is ajar just slightly she will either fling it open and let out a meow or shut it on you and when you open it, just stare at you.
