Hi,
I need some advise on a particular school.
This school is offering an LVN program Part time 13 1/2 months and it's two days a week 4 hours each, and Sat. 12 hours and Sun 4 hours. Does anyone think this program is too short? And this school is fairly new they just accredited. Would you pick this school for your LVN program?
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have any other options? You wind up investing so much of yourself in school that I would be afraid to start somewhere that isn't established. Do you know of anyone who has graduated from there? The time frame isn't too long but you would be putting in the same amount of hours that I'm putting in at my school. I have 9 hours classroom time and 8 hours clinical time each week. It takes 2 semesters to get through the LPN program at my school. Also, think about having no free weekends for 13 1/2 months. I think if it were me I would check into other options.

Yes, I have another option. It's a school that has been around for many years. And they have many students graduated and passed the board. The other new school has only been around for almost 2 years, and they have the first batch of students scheduled to graduate this May. So there's really no track record.
