hi, i am a new grad and some people told me it would be good to get a pda so that i can have it with me to look up drugs. (instead of carrying around a book) anyone have any good ideas where to get one at, i don't care if it is used as long as it works. or do you all think that it is a bad idea?? thanks for all the replys.

you might want to check e-bay if you're looking for used. I've gotten really lucky with EVERYTHING that I've purchased. Be sure to pay close attention to the sellers score, and read some of the feedback comments before you make any purchase. I've always done my research before jumping into any purchase!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

tmilos; here is webpage that has cheap PDAs; http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/PDAs/586/cat.html?sort=Highest+Price%3Fcid%3D128555&kid=2000016419

And here is a spot where you can get basic medical software, which is updated very frequently, for free; http://www.epocrates.com/products/

Good luck

Another place to look for PDAs, is at the actual company web sites.
For example, www.palm.com If you are shopping for a palm, you might be able to get a refurbished one, for a significant lower price but comes with a shorter company warrantee. I got a Palm PDA for my mom a few years back new would have been $200 but the refurbished was only $75.
