Blake Medical Center’s Innovative Back to Nursing Program Are you an RN who has not worked in a clinical capacity in the acute care setting for several years? Have you considered returning to bedside Nursing, but felt overwhelmed by the prospect of refreshing your clinical training? Blake Medical Center, in partnership with St. Petersburg College, makes it easier than ever for Florida-licensed RNs to rediscover a nursing career through our innovative Back to Nursing Program! Upon completion of 120 hours of didactic course material, provided via the St. Petersburg College’s online eCampus, selected candidates will then be placed into PAID preceptored clinical positions where they will be re-introduced to various clinical situations. Once the preceptorship is complete, candidates are easily transitioned into full or part-time positions* at Blake Medical Center, part of the growing HCA West Florida hospital system. Best of all, Blake Medical Center will provide $2,000 to cover the St. Petersburg College course, books and any other additional expenses! To apply for the program, active Florida-licensed RNs should contact Patty Ehrenfeld, Nurse Recruiter via phone at (727) 772-5156, or via email at: Patty.Ehrenfeld@hcahealthcare.com *Once selected, you will be made a tentative offer of employment pending successful completion of the program requirements and our pre-employment screening, drug test, and health screening.
