What do you think of the younger classmates when you went to school. You know the ones that cram 45 mins for a major exam and end up with 80 percent. Anyone have any good stories to tell?

Well, I never saw that. what I saw was if they did not study, not matter what age, the grade reflected the time put into studying

Nope...I was one of "them". I don't know why, but I went through my whole schooling like that. I did "study" for some things, but most of it was just kinda absorbed...I guess I've been really lucky, cuz rumor has it my mom did a lot of drugs while pregnant with me...just kidding!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

I see some very bright younger people where I am at. It is amazing how mature many of the RN candidates are at younger and younger ages. I have had the opportunity to meet some that are very commited and sharp as a razor in unexpected ways that one does not expect.

We are seeing our younger staff excelling at the technical end, but struggling with the social/pysch side of nursing...in a round table discussion they revealed they are more comfortable texting and instant messaging.
