That was a great video. I was born in 1960, but do remember alot of that stuff.
I remember DIck Clark and American Bandstand on Saturdays and my older sisters always up dancing around. Cubby Checker and the Twist, the Ed Sullivan Show, Black and White TV. I remember when we first got our color TV, we still had the black and white and we would run from room to room amazed at the difference. I remember Neil Armstrong walking on the moon. And 8 track tapes were the coolest thing. Now the kids don't even know what an 8 track tape is. Thanks cdnurse for sharing this. It certainly brought back a lot memories.

We had a local bandstand show called the Big 5 show. I remember Kruschev taking his shoe off and beating the desk. They had my first car on the site a 1963 corvair............I loved that car, paid $600 for it used. I saved four years for that car.

I always dreamed of running away to San Francisco in the 60's. I dreamt of drugs, sex and rock and roll. I love that city now as an adult. My husband says we are going to go live there for three months when done with school so I can live my dream. Probably to risky for the drugs part, but I can live with just sex and rock and roll at this stage. I don't think I'd look to hot in the mini and white go go boots.
