I am currenly completing my Pre-Req's at my local CC (with a 4.0) The current wait time to get into the Nursing Program is 6-8 semesters!!! Would it be faster to finish my LVN then enroll into a LVN to RN program that has almos no wait time for enrollment? I also hear, but have not substantiated it, that 1 year employment as as lvn is required for the LVN to RN program. Is that true?
